Terms and conditions of Xafax NetPay® credits

Definitions


Xafax NetPay credit: The amount paid in advance for the payment application to be used by the consumer for the services provided through the Xafax NetPay connection.

Connection: Access to the service provided by OurCampus to consumers.

Service: The payment applications; printers, multifunctionals, cash registers and vending machines provided by OurCampus to consumers.

Consumer: A natural person who uses or requests a service for purposes other than business or professional purposes.

Order: An order to pay at printers, multifunctionals, cash registers or vending machines.

2.

Establishment of the agreement for a Xafax NetPay connection


The agreement for a Xafax NetPay connection is established from the moment such connection is used for the first time.

3.

Term, use and termination of the agreement


  • The term of the agreement is in principle indefinite and starts after a Xafax NetPay credit has been deposited into the consumer's user account.
  • An order can be given by the consumer using the Xafax NetPay credit if the credit is sufficient.
  • The Xafax NetPay credit is not sufficient if the costs of an order are higher than the outstanding NetPay credit. OurCampus is in that case not obliged to process the order. OurCampus is not obliged to process the order in proportion to the available NetPay credit either.
  • The Xafax NetPay credit has a validity of 12 months from the time NetPay was last used.
  • The consumer is entitled to terminate the agreement and therefore to cancel the account by the end of the studies or employment and is entitled to a refund of the remaining Xafax NetPay credit, provided that this amount is more than € 2.50 (due to the administration costs that will be charged for the refund). A refund request is submitted via the refund form.
  • Upon request for a refund, the remaining credit will be refunded, while the administrative charges amounting to EUR 2,50 will be deducted.
  • If the credit is not refunded or withdrawn after 1 year after deregistration/termination of employment, OurCampus reserves the right to cancel the remaining balance.
  • The conditions and periods of validity of the Xafax NetPay credit can be adjusted by OurCampus. Such an adjustment will be announced at least four weeks before it becomes effective.
  • Upon termination of the Xafax NetPay connection, all agreements for the services purchased will end.

    4.

    Payment


  • Xafax NetPay credit can only be used for services specified by OurCampus.
  • OurCampus offers the consumer of an Xafax NetPay connection one or more options to upgrade NetPay credit. OurCampus may establish amounts that can be used to upgrade NetPay credit and may adjust the amount.
  • OurCampus applies great care when upgrading and downgrading Xafax NetPay credit. If, nevertheless, an upgrade or downgrade has been wrongly made or omitted, OurCampus is entitled to make an adjustment.
  • Payment of the use of the payment application only takes place by debiting the Xafax NetPay credit.
  • OurCampus offers the consumer the possibility to request a Xafax NetPay credit.
  • OurCampus must be notified of any complaints against amounts charged by e-mail within fourteen days after the date of purchase.

    5.

    Liability


  • The holder of the OurCampus pass/card undertakes to handle the pass/card provided by the OurCampus with due care. A (network) credit is related to the pass/card. In the event of loss or theft, OurCampus is not liable for any damage suffered (as a result of unlawful use) as long as the card is not blocked. The consumer must ensure that the pass or card is blocked via this website or an Xafax payment terminal.
